QUALITY CARGO CONTROL WARNING STATEMENT
WARNING, READ BEFORE USE!
RUBBER OR EPDM TARP STRAP WARNINGS: INFO
RUBBER OR EPDM TARP STRAPS SHALL BE USED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL STATE, FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL, LOCAL AND INDUSTRY
REGULATIONS, AS APPLICABLE. FAILURE TO FOLLOW PRODUCT REGULATIONS, INSTRUCTIONS, WARNINGS AND PROPER USE, CARE AND
INSPECTION STANDARDS MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE TO CARGO, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH. THESE PRODUCTS ARE USED AT THE USERS’
OWN RISK. USE OF THESE PRODUCTS DEMONSTRATES AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE WARNINGS AND THE POTENTIAL RISKS INVOLVED.
• Inspect the entire tarp strap before each use. Do not use if the tarp strap shows any signs of damage to rubber/EPDM, including, but not limited
to cuts and cracks, and if hooks are damaged, bent, elongated, corroded or if any nicks, cracks or gouges exist.
• Exposure to the environment, such as temperatures outside the -40°F to 400°F temperature range, and/or chemicals, can cause damage to
tarp straps.
• Do not exceed maximum safe stretch of more than 50% of the original length.
• Do not use this product as the primary tie down as tarp straps are designed to hold tarps in place. Tarp straps should not be used for restraining
or securing cargo.
• Tarp straps should not be used for any lifting, raising or lowering applications.
• Wearing eye protection during use of tarp straps, spider bungees or any rubber products is required.
• Avoid anchoring tarp straps around sharp edges or pulling over any potentially abrasive surfaces.
• Use extreme care when connecting and disconnecting tarp straps as a sudden break or disconnection may cause personal injury or death.
• Refer to the applicable Federal, Provincial, State, and Local regulations.
QCC assumes no responsibility for the end user’s assembly in which our rubber or EPDM straps may be used. Failure of the product can
occur due to misapplication, overuse, abuse, intentional alteration or improper maintenance. Product failure can result in property
damage, personal injury or death.
WEBBING STRAP ASSEMBLY WARNINGS:
WEBBING STRAP ASSEMBLIES SHALL BE USED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL STATE, FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL, LOCAL AND INDUSTRY
REGULATIONS, AS APPLICABLE. FAILURE TO FOLLOW PRODUCT REGULATIONS, INSTRUCTIONS, WARNINGS AND PROPER USE, CARE
AND INSPECTION STANDARDS MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE TO CARGO, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH. THESE PRODUCTS ARE USED AT
THE USERS’ OWN RISK. USE OF THESE PRODUCTS DEMONSTRATES AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE WARNINGS AND THE POTENTIAL
RISKS INVOLVED.
• Inspect the entire webbing strap assembly before each use. Do not use if there are signs of damage, including, but not limited to holes, tears,
cuts, frays, snags or broken/worn stitching in the webbing. Or if buckles and/or end fittings are damaged, deformed, corroded or if any nicks,
cracks or gouges exist in the webbing strap assembly.
• Avoid anchoring webbing strap assemblies around sharp edges or pulling over any potentially abrasive surfaces. Corner protectors should
be used in accordance with the law and recommended standards of the Web Sling & Tie Down Association (WSTDA).
• Exposure to the environment, such as extreme temperatures and/or chemicals, can cause damage to webbing strap assemblies.
• Do not attempt to repair webbing strap assemblies. If damage or defect is discovered webbing strap assembly should immediately be
removed from service.
• All webbing straps are solely for the purpose of load control, and should not be used for any type of lifting, raising or lowering applications.
• Never exceed the working load limit (WLL) of any webbing strap assembly. Subjecting webbing strap assemblies to loads beyond their
stated WLL can result in damage to cargo, personal injury and/or death. The WLL of any webbing strap assembly is only as strong as its weakest
point, including the point of attachment.
• Strength of webbing strap assemblies are significantly reduced if load path is not in a straight line.
• Handle extensions (lever bars/“cheater bars”/extenders) should not be used on hardware when tensioning.
• Refer to the applicable Federal, Provincial, State, and Local regulations.
• Refer to the Web Sling & Tie Down Association‘s (WSTDA) recommended operating practices for specific details.
QCC assumes no responsibility for the end user’s application in which our webbing strap assemblies may be used. Failure of the product can occur due
to misapplication, overuse, abuse, intentional alteration or improper maintenance. Product failure can result in property damage, personal injury or
death.
NEVER EXCEED THE WORKING LOAD LIMIT (WLL). ALL ASSEMBLIES ARE ONLY AS STRONG AS THEIR WEAKEST POINT, INCLUDING THE POINT OF ATTACHMENT.
