QUALITY CARGO CONTROL WARNING STATEMENT

                                         WARNING, READ BEFORE USE!
INFO WARNING INFORMATION FOR CARGO CONTROL

FAILURE TO FOLLOW PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS, WARNINGS, AND PROPER USE, CARE AND INSPECTION STANDARDS MAY RESULT
IN CARGO DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH. THESE PRODUCTS ARE USED ENTIRELY AT THE USERS’ OWN RISK. USE OF THESE
PRODUCTS DEMONSTRATES AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE WARNINGS AND POTENTIAL RISKS INVOLVED.

WARNING: Prior to the use of any product from this catalog or website, carefully read and follow all applicable instructions, warnings and
safety information enclosed and attached to the product.

WARNING: It is the responsibility of the Owner/User to evaluate the compatibility of any cargo securing device or other product for any
particular need or use. Check all applicable federal, provincial, state, industry, trade association and local regulations prior to use.
WARNING: All ratings referenced in this catalog or website reference only products in new condition. Please note that used, aged, worn,
damaged, misused products, and/or products over exposed to the environment and/or chemicals can significantly reduce strength and
usability. Prior to use, all products should be inspected and any worn, cut, aged, damaged, misused, overused, or improperly maintained
product should be taken out of service and/or replaced immediately.
WARNING: In most cases, the working load limits referenced in this catalog or website are rated at one-third of the breaking strength.
All strength references are based on a straight pull application of new/unused product. Products subjected to age, wear and deterioration
reduce the product’s strength capacity. All assemblies or systems are only as strong as their weakest component, including the point of
attachment. Load directions other than straight can result in a significant reduction in breaking strength.
CAUTION: Never exceed the working load limit of any component. Listed breaking strengths do not imply any particular working load limit.
The purpose of this warning statement is to be used as a standard to identify only those risks that are most common. The ultimate responsibility and understanding
of proper use and application of the products rest with the end user. Quality Cargo Control and/or Quality Chain Corp. (hereby referred to as QCC) is harmless
against any claims, loss or expenses related to damages and injuries as a consequence from the use of product sold by QCC.
          CHAIN AND CHAIN BINDER WARNINGS:

CHAIN AND CHAIN BINDERS SHALL BE USED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL STATE, FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL, LOCAL AND INDUSTRY REGULATIONS, AS
APPLICABLE. FAILURE TO FOLLOW PRODUCT REGULATIONS, INSTRUCTIONS, WARNINGS AND PROPER USE, CARE AND INSPECTION STANDARDS
MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE TO CARGO, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH. THESE PRODUCTS ARE USED AT THE USERS’ OWN RISK. USE OF THESE
PRODUCTS DEMONSTRATES AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE WARNINGS AND THE POTENTIAL RISKS INVOLVED.
           • Inspect the entire chain and chain binder before each use. Do not use if the chain and/or chain binder shows any sign of damage, including,
but not limited to elongated links, or if there are any nicks, cracks and/or gouges.
           • Exposure to the environment, such as extreme temperatures and/or chemicals may cause damage.
           • Remove from service if the material thickness at any location of the chain link is less than the minimum thickness listed in the National
Association of Chain Manufacturers (NACM) welded chain specifications.
           • Never exceed the working load limit (WLL) of any chain or chain binder. Subjecting any chain or chain binder to loads beyond its stated WLL
can result in damage to cargo, personal injury and/or death. The WLL of any chain or chain binding system is only as strong as its weakest point.
           • Binders should be matched with the equivalent grade of chain for chain binding assemblies.
           • Select the suitable binder for the specific load and the securement required.
           • Chain and/or chain binders should not be used for lifting, raising or lowering applications.
           • Chain binders should only be tightened by hand to its specified Working Load Limit (WLL). Handle extensions (lever bars/“cheater bars”/extenders)
should not be used on any binders.
           • When operating, user shall secure their footing on the ground; do not stand on the load. In cases of adverse weather conditions extra precautions
should be taken to ensure safety.
           • Tighten chain by positioning the chain binder so the handle can be pulled downward to tighten.
           • Each chain binder must be secured in a manner that prevents it from becoming loose, opened or released while vehicle is in transit. Latches,
chain wrap or other means should be used to secure the chain binder handle. Periodic checks and adjustments may be required during transit
                 to ensure adequate tension.
           • Use extreme caution when releasing binders. When releasing use open hand, ensuring that all body parts are out of handle path as a sudden
release due to stored energy may cause a high speed flailing hazard, causing personal injury or death.
           • Due to environmental exposure, periodic inspection, cleaning and lubrication may be necessary to ensure proper operation.
           • Refer to the applicable Federal, Provincial, State and Local regulations.
           • Refer to the Web Sling & Tie Down Association‘s (WSTDA) recommended operating practices for specific details.
QCC assumes no responsibility for the end user’s assembly in which our chain or chain binders may be used. Failure of the product can occur due to
misapplication, overuse, abuse, intentional alteration or improper maintenance. Product failure can result in property damage, personal injury or death.
NEVER EXCEED THE WORKING LOAD LIMIT (WLL). ALL ASSEMBLIES ARE ONLY AS STRONG AS THEIR WEAKEST POINT, INCLUDING THE POINT OF ATTACHMENT.
